Privacy Policy

• Account data — your email address, display name and sign-in method (email, Google or Apple).
• Watch images — photos you upload for scanning, stored in our private image storage.
• Scan and collection data — identified brand, model, reference, valuations, purchase prices, notes and statuses you add.
• Usage data — searches, comparisons, scan counts and basic diagnostic logs used to keep the service reliable.
• Billing data — subscription status and customer identifiers from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

• To identify watches from your photos and produce valuations, authenticity indicators and market insights.
• To maintain your collection, portfolio and saved comparisons across devices.
• To manage your subscription, free-scan allowance and trial period.
• To improve accuracy — including anonymised, aggregated search trends and feedback you submit on a scan.
• To communicate service, security and account messages, and product updates you have opted into.

Uploaded images and search terms are sent to our AI provider solely to perform recognition and valuation. They are processed to return a result to you and are not used by us to train public models. Valuations are estimates generated by AI and market data, not a professional appraisal.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the processors needed to run Chrono Lens: our cloud database and storage provider, our AI provider, our payment processor and our email provider. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.

• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure provider.
• Row-level security ensures your scans, collection and images are only accessible to your account.
• Images are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived signed links.
• We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your scans, collection and images.

You can edit or delete individual scans and collection entries at any time, and permanently delete your account from Profile. See Data & Compliance for your full rights and how to exercise them.

Chrono Lens is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
