• Account use — provide accurate details, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Acceptable use — use Chrono Lens for personal or business watch research within the law.
• Prohibited behaviour — no scraping, bulk extraction, reselling of our data, reverse engineering, circumventing usage limits or security, or using results to facilitate fraud, counterfeiting or misrepresentation.
• AI limitations — outputs are automated estimates and may be wrong (see the AI Disclaimer).
• Valuation & authenticity limitations — not an appraisal, authentication, insurance valuation or financial advice.
• Intellectual property — see the notice below.
• User-uploaded content — see the image policy below.
• Subscriptions & cancellation — see the billing section below.
• Account termination — we may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can delete your account at any time.
• Changes to the service — features, limits and third-party data sources may change or be withdrawn. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.
• Liability — to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or losses arising from reliance on a valuation or authenticity result. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

The original Chrono Lens code, user interface, graphics, text, branding, compiled databases, AI prompts, valuation methodology and other original content may be protected by applicable copyright, database and other intellectual-property laws.

Watch identification, specifications, valuations, market insights, comparisons and recommendations are generated by AI models using photographs, search terms and third-party market data. They are estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify important details independently before acting on them.

Valuations are not guaranteed sale prices and are not financial or investment advice. Actual prices achieved can differ significantly and are affected by factors including:

• Condition, wear, polishing and originality of parts.
• Presence of box, papers and accessories.
• Provenance and ownership history.
• Servicing history and warranty status.
• Market conditions, currency, region and where you sell.
• The completeness and accuracy of the data available to us.

Authenticity checks inspect visual markers in the photos you provide. They cannot verify the movement, serial records, paperwork or internal components, and the result is not a guarantee that a watch is genuine or counterfeit. For valuable watches, obtain professional authentication from the manufacturer or a qualified specialist.

• You are responsible for the images and notes you upload and confirm you have the right to use them.
• You keep ownership of your content and grant us a limited licence to host and process it so we can provide the service.
• Uploaded images are stored in private storage, scoped to your account, and served through short-lived signed links.
• Images and search terms are sent to our AI provider to perform identification, analysis and valuation, and to return a result to you.
• Deleting a scan, collection entry or your account removes the associated images from the app.
• Do not upload unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

Chrono Lens Pro is £7.99 per month or £49.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
• Unless cancelled before the 7-day trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at the plan price.
• Cancel at any time from the billing portal in Profile; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. Prices may change with prior notice.
• The free plan includes a limited monthly scan allowance and a limited collection size.

You can delete individual scans and collection entries at any time, and permanently delete your account from Profile. Deleting your account removes your profile, scans, collection and uploaded images from the app. Routine backups and provider logs may retain copies for a short period before they expire, and we keep records we are legally required to keep (such as billing records).

Watch brand names, logos, trademarks, model names and reference numbers belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively for identification only. Chrono Lens is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any watch manufacturer, retailer, auction house or marketplace.

To run the service we use third-party providers for cloud database and storage, AI processing, market data sources, payment processing and email delivery. Each processes data under contract on our instructions.
